As well as face to face teacher training courses, IH Buenos Aires offers blended and online teacher training courses, both locally through our team of expert online trainers and internationally in conjunction with our International House World Organisation Online Teacher Training Institute (OTTI).

IH Language Awareness Course (IHLAC)
To familiarise course participants with language commonly found in course books and other published materials (‘pedagogical grammar’) and develop their language analysis skills.

IH Certificate in Teaching One to One (IH121)
To prepare teachers for working in a one to one teaching context.

IH Certificate in Business English Teaching (IHBET)
To provide candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge to start teaching Business English.

IH Certificate in Teaching Younger Learners (IHCYL)
To prepare teachers for working with young learners.

IH Director of Studies Skills Certificate Course (IHDOS)
To prepare experienced teachers interested in becoming a Director of Studies in a language school or who are taking their first steps into academic management.

IH Certificate in Advanced Methodology (IHCAM)
To develop teachers' theoretical knowledge of teaching and so make them more informed practitioners.

HOW TO APPLY
Firstly, to be considered you need to meet the following requirements:

Check you meet the specific requirements outlined on the individual course information pages for the course you are applying for.
Complete the application form and then email it to [email protected]. Please put the course title in the subject box of your mail.
For some courses an interview may be held as part of the application process. These are normally conducted by phone or Skype.
Successful candidates will receive a formal acceptance email, together with payment and reservation details.
