Motivation Keys - Words That Motivate and Inspire You to Action
By:Anthony D Carter

Words can motivate you to take action when you are feeling down. There are quotes and sayings that provide you with inspiration. They inspire you to take the necessary action that your goals require. Here are some inspirational quotes that will spur you to act:

"You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club."

~Jack London

This is an excellent quote because it points out the importance of action. You cannot wait on that bolt of inspiration to hit you before you start. You must get into action before you will gain any tangible results. Your success is predicated upon consistent action and not lucky breaks or opportunities which materialize out of thin air without any effort on your part. This reminds me of another quote by Ann Landers, "Opportunities are usually disguised as hard work, so most people don't recognize them."

Take on an action oriented approach towards hitting your goals. Never allow yourself to shrink into passive state where you are waiting for something good to happen before you can make your next move.Sometimes you may not feel like you have all of the answers that you need in order to move forward. But if you trust and step out anyway then that is when you will experience the pleasant surprises known as opportunities and good breaks.

"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts."

Winston Churchill

Remember its not over until you say it is. You can do anything that you set your mind to if you persist until you achieve what you set out to do. Failure is a part of the journey but it is never fatal or final unless you allow it to be.

Learn from your mistakes and make them a foundation for your success. With each failure you are gaining experience. You are learning what not to do. When you replace wrong actions with the proper ones you improve your results. Do this long enough and you will become skillful.

Remember it is not the destination, but the journey that gives us the most joy. We grow and change mostly when we are pursuing our goals. You must have the courage to continue on despite the obstacles and setbacks. When you do obtain what you want you will feel good about yourself. You will be happy that you paid the price to get what you wanted. But it is the person that you have become which will matter most to you over time.
