ENGLISH TEACH FOR TOKYO AD [Only one position available]

WORK IN TOKYO - TEACHING ENGLISH - No Experience Necessary - Must be good with kids

A Tokyo based English school called "YY School" (run by a very nice gentleman named Goto (Go - toe) needs a teacher who can to Japan, and teach kids ages 3 - up to age 15 in various parts around Tokyo. A lot of the kids love English teachers, and its nice because you get treated like royalty at most schools.

Start time is: MID-JUNE 2008

Payment (as with most Japanese companies) is only once a month, so make sure

you have airfare, rent and a bit of start-up money to come.

You have to front your own (train/bus) travel costs, however on pay day, they get re-paid.

RE: Pay/Time

Hours: PART TIME Hours - at a rate of around $30/hour.

Work: 2 hour to 5 hours per day, depending on the day.

Details: Usually a 45-to-120 minute class,then a 2 hour break, then at another location a 1 or 2 hour class - is the

usual day for this type of work. Light work, with lots of breaks and travel.

PAYMENT is about $1500 (during holiday filled months) to $2700 (during busy

months) - Average is roughly $2000 per month.

COSTS

Costs per month are usually:$500-$800 (housing) + $400 (food) + $300 (travel) = $1300-$1500

(I had $500-$700 for repaying debt and/or shopping.)

REQUIREMENTS:

+ A WORKING HOLIDAY VISA (if you are from: Canada, Australia, NewZealand, or other country where they have the working-holiday visa program.)

[Usally this means you need to show you have $2500 to the Visa Office in your hometown, and be AGE 21-30]

IF you wish to upgrade the Visa later you will need either:

+ A University Degree (minimum is a Bachelors Degree)

-OR-

+ 3 Years Experience Teaching English in a Professional School in Your home country, and a "TESL" Certificate.

PS - IF SOMEONE NEEDS AIRFARE AND RENT Lent to them.. and they can pay it
back slowly over 6 months, then I can lend the airfare and first and last month rent to them.
I would have Mr. Goto deduct an agreed upon (and reasonable) amount, so that the teacher can
live well, and pay back their own loans... so if that is better for the teacher, I can arrange a
no-interest loan (personally) to them, as I need the person to replace me ASAP.
