Re Western men and the severe depression of being stuck in in the West or China.

I used to freely criticize the Chinese when I lived there, both online and to their face. I was never worried about deportation or "retribution".

Big deal, you get deported from China, not like having to leave is a big loss.

#2 Parent Bobby - 2017-10-12
Re Western men and the severe depression of being stuck in in the West or China.

Expats living in China are suppressed in that they can't post freely online nor send emails about what they think of living and working in China without running the risk of retribution by the authorities for content deemed anti-state. I accept this as it's not a big issue for me.

But as you're not in China, you have much more freedom in this respect.

#3 Parent Silverboy - 2017-10-12
Re Western men and the severe depression of being stuck in in the West or China.

Well why do you live there if you feel this suppression?

It's seems to me that ex-pats in China have no brains. They marry Chinese women again even after they've lost most of their money to one of them the first time around.

They tell women how much they earn, how many properties they have, how much they have in the bank.

Talk about shit for brains! I'd never tell ANY woman how much I earn, or if I have property or not.

I wear expensive watches and jewelry but I'd never tell a woman, not even a Thai woman how much money I have as most women can't be trusted.

Tell em' nothing and give em nothing either!

Re Western men and the severe depression of being stuck in in the West or China.

I don't have any aliases, never have. I don't try to supress any opinions on here. I use the same IP address, unless when I'm in Pattaya.

Expats in China are much more restricted than you and should try to post their views anonymously. It's an uneven playing field, as you well lmow!

I urge the board to let all posts that are not bickersome to stand.

Suppression not only operates in China, but globally. Your homeland's media is expert at it, as you and I know only too well.

I don't want you or anyone else to have their posts deleted or edited. I believe in free speech, I don't expect everyone to agree with, what a boring place the world
would be for me.

So, I urge ESLTB to approve ALL of Mr Caring's post although I can't control that.

Re Western men and the severe depression of being stuck in in the West or China.

The question isn't why your posts get edited or deleted but why you and your aliases always get their way on the board. I've replied to you way more than a day ago, yet I can't see the post here. So, what's "hypocritical" is (the fake traffic) that you can go on "FUCKING" the board up while the real issues in the esl industry and nations where teachers are cannot be well debated on the forum and that you (and your aliases) can answer to other posts/posters within seconds while some real users have to either wait to have their posts read or see others insulting/discrediting them and derailing their messages. All in all, this is a public forum for esl teachers and moderators should notice that with all due respect. Whether this post ends up posted or not remains up to the same mods that have disregarded my previous reply to the Silverboy character.

lol, another one with silly conspiracy theories. I make NOTHING from posting on here, never have, but I have been accused of profiting from this site numerous times.

I would not be interested in investing in this website, I don't need the money anyway, I can afford to buy anything I want.

Even if I was getting paid for "trolling" and "flaming" ( telling the truth ) then why do some of my posts get edited or deleted? If I was an investor in a website I'd want EVERYTHING I post on that
site to appear without any restrictions.

BTW, given the fuck up that your life is it's a bit rich for you to call other posters "trash". A tad hypocritical don't you think?

And yes, I'll say it again, your English is crap.

Oh, man you're such a sh*t and so is YOUR ENGLISH. But I have given a promise to the board to be friendly even with trash like you. Given your participation on the eslteachersboard, I suspect that you and your gang are making something out of the trolling, flaming and posting such crappy threads that have little meaning to the true teachers around the world. So sad for the community of users who the eslteachersboard lives from.

Re Western men and the severe depression of being stuck in in the West or China.

Your English is crap once again but anyway I'm not "taking advantage" of anyone or anything. NEVER have. I don't accept the "free ride" in life.

I can tell that you have surrendered your will to the social expectations of women and society. That's the exact opposite of MGTOW thinking/philosophy.

My strategies will empower women and make them self-sufficient. Your kind keeps them down and dependent on men for survival. You are, in fact, an abuser.

Teach a man/woman to fish. Don't give them fish. I ain't religious, but that's a saying I agree with.

I'll bet you even bought a house for your Chinese wife. That's makes you the biggest LOSER and SELL OUT in my book. It's hard to believe their are still "men" around stupid enough to do this.

Mothers with kids must all WORK for a living and not rely on taxpayer funds. I for one resented paying massive taxes for years when I was married to support single mothers and middle class family welfare under the Howard government in Australia, a "pretend conservative" regime that in many ways that was actually very socialist in nature.

As for you, A SUCKER IS BORN EVERY DAY!

Re Western men and the severe depression of being stuck in in the West or China.

Economically speaking, women'd have their stressed kids eat grass, if things were according to you. If there's no accountability around, people take advantage of situations which is what you're doing. Having mothers with kids pay for such men's attitudes will put our planet back in the stone age.

I gotta tell you, people really should follow my advice. Especially from an economic perspective "MGTOW" will improve Western economies by dramatically increasing the savings rate ( economists can easily prove this )

Women will be better off as they will be forced to be more independent and save money and not rely on men.

It's a WIN WIN situation, nobody loses.

Re Western men and the severe depression of being stuck in in the West or China.

I think you should just take it easy. Working at your age is a waste of time, especially in China.

Just let your younger wife work and you enjoy the spoils of her labor.

I can understand some of what you say: It can be good to get another persons perspective on things and their opinion. However, these days my only interest in women is mostly for sexual purposes. I don't want to waste money wining and dining or sitting on the beach talking bullshit. Sure though, some Pattaya girls are very cute and funny and would be ok as short term GF's.

When I was with my ex-wife, on the weekends I spent a lot of time in the countryside to the west of Brisbane around the Granite Belt and also Wide Bay/Burnett area. She was into nature and outdoor things and she liked bush walking and mountains and the Sunshine Coast ( she hated the Gold Coast like many people do )

I worked outdoors in the sun for many years in various locations so at night or on weekends I just wanted to chill out on the sofa and watch Home and Away or a movie or go to Carindale and see a film and go shopping for watches and jewelry or look around bookstores for astronomy books. My wife hated shopping and was not materialistic but she was not into fishing and boating like me.

Her obsession with getting a PhD in later years ruined our marriage. Now a woman with low education is no good and should be ignored, but a woman with too much study ambition is to be avoided also.

Being alone is more appreciated when you are married, I agree. I remember around 2004 I used to go to a quiet area of parkland in western Brisbane called "Oxley Creek Common" after work sometimes for an hour or so to just think about some things and get away from the wife. A weird place, close to a busy industrial area and fruit and vegetable market but hundreds of acres of parkland.

#15 Parent Silverboy - 2017-10-07
Re Western men and the severe depression of being stuck in in the West or China.

I'd also like to add and warn people thinking of coming to Australia to avoid Brisbane. Many people from the USA, Canada, South Korea, Taiwan, seem to have been conned by this "New World City" nonsense as tourist numbers are way up recently.

Brisbane is very expensive, hotels and restaurants are very good but a total rip-off. There is really nothing here for tourists except for Southbank ( it was nice when it was just mostly parkland but it is totally overdeveloped now ) Mt Gravatt lookout, Kangaroo Point cliffs area. Yes , the view is great, and yes, Brisbane has world class modern architecture, but that does not make for a "New World City".

It's just political propaganda and garbage, so don't fall for this crap. Go to Tasmania or the Northern Territory if you want to see the "real Australia".

Re Western men and the severe depression of being stuck in in the West or China.

Never said Brisbane is a "hellhole" but there are many problems that need to be addressed. It is very car dependent, has poor public transport, the arterial roads and freeways are often choked with traffic.

Having said that, it has some of the best weather in the world, especially in winter, and probably the most beautiful urban parks outside of North America. It's also close to some of the best beaches in the world.

However, this "Australia's New World City" propaganda being promoted by the BCC ( Brisbane City Council ) is just nonsense and bullshit.

I tried to post a You Tube link to Archie Luxury "Brisbane Sucks" , "Australia's New World City", "BCC Delusions of Grandeur", but was unable to for some reason.
I am a big fan of Archie Luxury, a local Brisbane boy like me who is very non-PC.

As usual your English is crap. Amsterdam is not my cup of tea. And you? When you finally grow some balls and divorce the Chinese wife ( better still , just abandon her ) where will you go? I guess Pattaya is not your style, lol!

Social History...

Considering that cultural Marxism seems to be the current tool of choice amongst Communists and their liberal pets in the West, a place where our religious institutions and the family unit are under constant attack, where divisive agendas relating to social class, race or sexuality seem to be enthusiastically pushed and where controls upon free speech frequently demanded; it would probably not take all that much effort to look back through history to be able to work out that things won't go so well, if we are stupid enough to let idiots like you have your own way.

That's why people like (((YOU))) are the enemies of the Western world and need to be removed from it.

A nice and interesting place frequented by tourists.

I like the ironic humour, Deborah. You sound English but you're most likely from New York or somewhere. It's okay, just doing my Sherlock Holmes logical deduction bit. Actually some places can be interesting in spite of us tourists. I bet SB can be interesting.

I know Amsterdam quite a bit. A nice and interesting place frequented by tourists. If you want to experience the real Netherlands, though, you have to go outside - to Gouda, for example, famous for its cheese.
Take care!

A little intellectual effort can help avoid getting scared. The hard truth is that society develops and social values change during the course of time. Always. Social History is the academic discipline concerned with the study of such phenomena.

Certain values in the West have been systematically destroyed over time, but it's not quite clear what the end goal is. However, that alone should scare you.

Amsterdam. But I know you want to exploit the poorer and smaller in size young souls. Then, qualifications for teaching English in Holland aren't comparable to Thailand too. Anyway, I am not picking fight but stating the obvious that insulting single men, who can't compromise, get stuck anywhere on this planet

There must be other similar places though

Re Western men and the severe depression of being stuck in in the West or China.

They need to follow the MGTOW philosophy and mantra: "I WILL NOT SURRENDER TO THE SOCIAL EXPECTATIONS OF WOMEN AND SOCIETY".

"I WILL SPEND ALL MY MONEY ON MYSELF AND KEEP ALL MY ASSETS FOR MYSELF".

"NO KIDS, NO WIFE, MEANS NO PROBLEMS IN LIFE".

I was thinking yesterday- the wife had a day off, took the girl to school and then went to town for a couple of hours to a Chinese buffet. What had occurred to me is that maybe single people don't appreciate being alone as much as married one's who just find themselves alone occasionally, and really enjoy that time alone to potter about and do things. Do you think that is fair comment? Maybe if you're on your tod all the time though, life can become a 'so what!' situation. If you have that wonderful meal, or look at that stupendously beautiful mountain, if you don't have anybody to bounce things off it can be a 'So Wot!' experience. However, I feel you are right about a lot of these women and I'm sure you are doing a good job advising and warning men.

My experience of a mainland Chinese wife has been a bit different. I wasn't let down when I needed help the most. Back in Blighty my wife is now on the 6am shift, she has received promotion and brings back the money every month. We are still dallying with the idea of doing one more year in China- I prefer to work I must say. Funny old life, isn't it!

#28 Parent Silverboy - 2017-10-06
Re Western men and the severe depression of being stuck in in the West or China.

I think you are correct. I just posed those questions as I know many forty-something guys stuck in the West and in China who seem to be lost and are looking for something better in life.

It's not just men in their 40's, it also applies to men in their 50's, 60's, early 70's. There are many blokes who just stay in China with their useless Chinese wives and crappy marriages. Sometimes it is fear that prevents these guys from making a change. They feel trapped

I know quite a few x-China ex-pats who have made the move to Pattaya and other places in SE-Asia ( I'm not saying Pattaya is for everyone, it can be overwhelming ) but these fellows can do a lot better than stay in China or in their hometown in the West.

Recently one Australian I know in Nanning wanted to move to Pattaya but has now reneged. I mean, why anybody would want to stay in Nanning, China, is beyond me.

I feel some of these guys have "Stockholm Syndrome", they hate their Chinese wives, they hate their life, but they feel trapped and are even intimidated by their wives.

Re Western men and the severe depression of being stuck in in the West or China.

It's a fair point. The problem is: Are values in the West going to change for the better? Will technology get better to the point where civil and moral values will be spread far and wide across the world? Will the economy in developing countries progress to the point where the social norms change for the better? These are all things we have to wait and see...

Western men and the severe depression of being stuck in in the West or China.

If you are a mid to late forty-something Western male how do you deal with living in the hell ( or being stuck in it for many men ) that is Western or Chinese society?

I mean, where can we go to escape the misery and stress? As for me, I have several places to live so from a material point of view I'm ok. I have my watches and silver jewelry, my luxury apartment and another property, I feel happy and get satisfaction from that.

However, I still have to put up with the terrible women in Brisbane, expensive taxes and utility bills and the bullshit commercial television here, the traffic, the feeling of being in a endless urban sprawl, needing a car to go to the closest decent mall ( or catching two slow buses ) political correctness, feminism, etc. nearly 5 dollars for a pot of beer at a pub.

Luckily I've found a few great Korean and Taiwan whores who do whatever I want as far as sex goes [edited]

So, where can us poor ol middle aged fuckers go to the find peace and contentment? Well, some of my fellow punters say BANGKOK, but it is extremely busy and has other problems.

PATTAYA is certainly one of the BEST locations for the Western man. However, I'm always looking for new experiences. I like a place where you can just walk everywhere you need or want to go to.

So, any suggestions? [edited]

Pattaya is still great apart from the Chinese pests who are starting to inundate the place. Angeles City is ok, but it's not Pattaya. There must be other similar places though.
