Re Ethics question

In the offline world, some employers insert clauses but in this case, it's the internet, ffs.

Re Ethics question

That's not a question of ethics, I guess. There is nothing you owe your previous employer. You should continue with the student on your own if he or she asks for it.

So... do you accept or do you refer them back to the school to renew their contract?

Ethics question

Hi all, I have a question concerning a type of ethical situation. Here's a hypothetical situation:

You currently teach ESL classes online as a freelancer however, you also have a few students that you received under contract from an online ESL institute. The students from the institute are contracted with the school for a 10 week period. At the end of that contract with the school, a student contacts you to continue with lessons, but directly, not through the school. So... do you accept or do you refer them back to the school to renew their contract?
