English schools in Australia and New Zealand
The Australian International College of Language (AICOL) was established in 1993 in Southport, the traditional business and education centre of the Gold Coast.
AICOL is a small, conservative school which prides itself on attention to detail and care for its students. All students at AICOL pay the same fees, regardless of their country of origin or their agent. Our Homestay Placement Service is conducted by our own staff, and all host families are personally interviewed and host family homes inspected on a regular basis. We own our school premises, and can guarantee the security of our student's fees.
Our English for Young Learners course has been offered for many years on an all-year-round basis for children from 6 to 13 years of age. Parents are welcome to join their children at AICOL, and study in our General English class. Students intending to enter an Australian high school may join our English for High School Preparation class. Those students keen to pursue further studies are able to take IELTS test preparation studies in our English for Academic Purposes class under the supervision of our Director of Studies, who is a senior IELTS test examiner.
AICOL's location opposite the beautiful Broadwater overlooking the Pacific Ocean is an ideal place to both learn English and experience the wonderful Australian environment.
