As you wrote, yes it is a scam when they write "Visa assistance for Non-EU teachers".
Schools in Italy are famous for not paying much, just enough to pay the rent and eat a little. The salary mentioned in the email is not typical, for sure "Excellent salary: € 2,600 to € 2,700 depending on qualifications and experience"
Schools in Italy do NOT provide western style accommodation. It's always old and cold in winter and expensive. "Free accommodation: Western style"
Schools in Italy do not pay for flights because they hire teachers from the UK or nearby in Europe. "Flight allowance provided"
But mostly the scammers used a gmail email address mtlanguages.it@gmail.com while there is a valid email address on the website of the school: info@mtlanguages.it
The scammers used the physical address provided to the domain registrar when the real school got their domain mtlanguages.it in 2004 http://whois.domaintools.com/mtlanguages.it: they tried very hard to confuse their victims. Thank you for exposing their scam, you will save money and heartbreaks to many candidates.
