i'm surprised you had a bad experience, I personally had a great experience with Find Work Abroad. I liked the customer service provided- Jenkins and Cherry were both very helpful both looking for a position and getting the details done for the contract. Even after I signed the contract Jenkins really helped.
I thought i'd post because i had a good experience with Find Work Abroad. I am very pleased with the service I got, I was struggling to find work as an English teacher by myself and looking online was quite overwhelming with information saying working in China would not be possible for me and others saying it would. Find Work Abroad are the only agency who responded to my enquiry positively and made it possible.
I don't believe what I have just read ,I have just fallen for same scam, now they have all my docs like resume and copy of passport photo showing all my information... really pissed off now
Just fill in the IC3 Complaint referral on FBI website and send an email about it to the Chinese embassy. Tell them that you're not responsible for any crimes that are committed by these Chinese scammers since they're stealing people's identities and Chinese government and people stay ignorant about it. Don't add the last part though. I think they're extremely ignorant. Bad reputation for Chinese people. Shame on them.
I found a job last year with this agency. They hooked me up with a school that lied on its contract. But since we have to have those reference letters from previous employers to get a work visa in China, I have no choice but to stay. The staff acts very helpful and I complained about this problem to them and they didnt do anything. I wont go through them again to find a job.
FindWorkAbroad is run by an Englishman named Atti in Guangzhou, he isn't a bad guy, he is well known withing the expat community in Tianhe, but his staff is the summit of incompetence and that means much in China.
Do not send your resume to Find Work Abroad, they will scam on you and sell your resume everywhere in China.
Block the find work abroad's scam emails from your mail box.
Well... what can i say about findworkabroad.com?
Firstly.... I think their staff are incompetent, but this may be down to their website advertising team that input false and inaccurate information.
My advice is, STAY AWAY from this pile of s**t
I am sorry too that I sent them my resume.
Here is the website of those bastards: http://www.findworkabroad.com
Folks, don't sent your resume to these scammers.
Great tip. Thanks!
Just block them from your Skype and qq , they will try their best to bait and switch you, then sell you off to the highest bidder. Somebody like Worlda or Walton that struggle to recruit directly due to their reputations.
Chinese Recruiter called Find Work Abroad: Is it a scam?
I heard bad things about them.
Should I do something about the fact that I sent them my resume?
What are they going to do with it?
