RULES AND REGULATIONS

Grand hotel agrees to pay all taxes and submit all payable as prescribed by law (including, but not limited to employment insurance, income tax, Canada Pension plan or Quebec Pension Plan).

REVIEWING WAGE
1. Grand hotel agrees to review and adjust our employee wages after 12 months of employment, to ensure they meet the prevailing wage rate for the occupation in the region.

TRAVEL EXPENSES
2. Grand hotel agrees to assume the cost of two-way air transportation between the employee’s countries to our Location Grand hotel suites.

ACCOMMODATION
3. Grand hotel agrees to ensure that reasonable and proper accommodation is available for our employee.

HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL CARE INSURANCE
4. Grand hotel agrees to provide health insurance at no cost to our employee until such time as an employee is eligible for applicable provincial health insurance coverage.

WORKPLACE SAFETY INSURANCE
5. Grand hotel agrees to register our employee under the relevant provincial government insurance plan.

NOTICE OF TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT
7. Grand hotel will give written notice before terminating the contract of our employee if the employee has completed 2 years of uninterrupted service with Grand hotel and if the contract is not about to expire. This notice shall be provided at least one week in advance.NOTICE OF RESIGNATION
6. Should he/she wish to terminate the present contract, the employee agrees to give to the Grand hotel written notice thereof at least one week in advance.

8. Both parties are obliged to abide by the standards set out in the relevant provincial labor standards act and the terms of this collective agreement in place.

Grand hotel abide by the standards rules set between employer and employee with respect to how wages are paid, how overtime is calculated, meal periods, statutory holidays, annual leave, family leave, benefits and recourse under the terms of the Act and collective agreement.

9. In addition to all the restrictions and exemptions from liability provided in this Contract and terms and condition, Grand Hotel shall have the benefit of all Statutes of the US/Canada providing for limitation and exoneration from liability and the procedures provide thereby, including but not limited to Sections 4282, 4282A, 4283, 4284, 4285 and 4286 of the Revised Statutes of the US/Canada (46 USCA Sections 182, 183, 183c (b), 183b, 184, 185 and 186); as well as all restrictions or exemptions from liability, when applicable, under the laws of US/Canada.

Nothing in this Contract is intended to nor shall it operate to limit or deprive Grand Hotel & Suites or any such statutory limitation of or exoneration from liability under any applicable laws.

10. ACCEPTANCE OF THIS CONTRACT/AGREEMENT/ YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THE CONTRACT/AGREEMENT AND AGREE TO ALL ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS. YOU HAVE INDEPENDENTLY EVALUATED THE DESIRABILITY OF THE SERVICE AND ARE NOT RELYING ON ANY REPRESENTATION AGREEMENT, GUARANTEE OR STATEMENT OTHER THAN AS SET FORTH IN THIS AGREEMENT.
