Blog site (blogger.com) of American ESL tutor/coach with lots of free material to practice English with.
I have spent many hours searching the internet for classical English literature with audio and or video.
Many of these resources I use with my students for homework assignments. Almost everything I use has text, audio or video.
I use these resources to give my students something to read and listen to before classes. During the class my students will tell me what they read, listened to or watched (video.) I correct their mistakes and help them use what they have been presented with. This is known as the "PPP method": http://teflpedia.com/PPP
I also use handpicked Ted Talks videos, biographies, history, news articles etc to make learning English fun and interesting.
I am a native English speaker (presently living in the Philippines) with a ESL teaching certificate.
I use Skype to help my students gain confidence in their English conversation.
