you append qualifications to your name and pontificate most grandiosely and yet make the astonishing claim that icecream is singular and therefore lots of icecream is erroneous.
icecream is, as I'm sure even a moment's consideration will remind you, sold in two main types; the handheld and indisputably singular bar or cone type and the tub or carton type, which is measured in litres.
litres, as I'm sure a fellow of your academic standing will recall, are a form of liquid measurement and liquids, as everyone knows, are uncountable unless accompanied by a quantifier such as a cup of...
essentially then, you're talking lots of (or a lot of, if you prefer) bollocks.
