Hi, language teachers: I find teaching using dialect for listening comprehension training is very practical and useful for most of my Business students. I have recorded quite a few radio programs from CBC Overnight programs from radio stations all over the world. We found them very good in enriching students knowledge and in telling the different pronunciations by people from other parts of the globe. Actually, not all the people are speaking standard British or American way. Even people from those countries do not pronounce the same. So, please let your students experience the differences.
