My Simple Statement of Faith

I believe that the Bible is 100% true without error.
It is God's revelation, written through human agents,
and it is the absolute authority in my life.
I believe in one God, eternally existing in three the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
I believe that God created the universe without the evolutionary process.
I believe that all humans have sinned, and they cannot save themselves
from eternal separation from God. Without God's intervention,
I would be spiritually dead forever.
I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God - fully God and fully man - born of a virgin.
His death on the cross was the substitution sacrifice for my sins and the sins of the whole world.
I have trusted in that sacrifice for forgiveness and salvation, not in my human works.
He is my resurrected Lord -
alive today and seated at God' s right hand - and someday He will return for His own.
I believe that the Holy Spirit is my indwelling comforter, guide, and source of spiritual power.
I believe in the local church, gifts given by God for service, and
God's work of grace in transforming my life.
I am called to love and enjoy Him, to walk by faith and in obedience
to the Word of God, and to love and serve others.
