Teaching Experience:

Delivering both indoor and outdoor educational lessons to large groups of children aged 8-18 in Lesotho, Africa as part of my voluntary work with Skillshare International in 2014. Working either as part of a small team or as an individual, I was tasked to create lesson plans and deliver educational sessions lessons (mainly about HIV/AIDS) in an energetic and enjoyable manner. With class sizes of up to 60 students and a wide range of English speaking abilities among them, facilitating these lessons was often a challenging but invariably a hugely rewarding experience. It was these lessons which made me fall in love with teaching and led me to pursue a career in teaching English abroad.
