Anywhere in Asia apart from China

I am currently living in Koh Samui and I am looking for a teaching position anywhere in Asia apart from China.

I am hardworking and reliable with good communication skills. I am a quick learner and can work well on my own initiative, as well as part of a collaborative team. I have had experience in office, bar and child care work, which has enabled me to develop excellent people skills and adapt to a variety of situations.

I was selling advertising space in a small local paper. My work involved a lot of phone conversations with exisiting and potential customers.

I assisted students from Spain who were seeking employment in the UK, my duties were to improve their English speaking skills and further develop their written English to enable their subsequent employment.

Resort Manager: Thai Garden Inn, Kanchanaburi, Thailand (March 2011-May 2012)

Managing an 11 bungalow, Bar/Restaurant Resort: My duties where to guide and supervise 5 staff members with little or no English. To run the bar/restaurant and oversee the preparation of the bungalows. To take bookings/records of the clients, to book excursions and organise transport, to deal with queries and to resolve any problems.

My main duties were managing two members of staff and overseeing the running of the bar during the evenings. I dealt with customers with a range of ages and cultures.

My main duties were supporting children with various learning difficulties and physical disabilities, to gain basic life skills I also taught English lessons for 1 hour a day. I am now in the process of setting up the centre as a registered Charity from the U.K.
