Objective:
To work in a professional and well managed educational institution here in China. To be afforded the chance to impart my knowledge both in the new and traditional methods of teaching language. I also would like to have the chance, in the future and if appropriate, to progress to management level within the teaching faculty. I have my own school, but want to take a few years break from the school and discover other cities and friends.

Job Title: High School English teacher – The Foreign language High school, Changchun.
Description: ESL instructor. Managed weekend tutorials on speech and listening
Criteria found in TOEFL and IELTS.
Job Title: College English teacher – The Construction University, Changchun.
Description: ESL oral and written English. Also spent a year teaching TEM 4 and 8, with emphasis on the History of British English.
Job Title: Middle School ESL teacher. – Number 2 Experimental Middle School Changchun.
Description: Taught grades 6-8 in large classroom settings. Introduced students to methods of learning that enabled them to acquire a good language skills set, for communication.

Description: Duties included teacher training (both Chinese and foreign teachers), class and teacher scheduling, teacher assessments including lesson plan reviews, formatting of examinations and the planning of extra curricular events.

Description: Have spent the last 4 years helping my wife (now ex-wife), run a Cultural center called World Life Center. Its essentially a place of learning, but is very different to any classroom setting. Will supply more details if required (www.wlcuk.cn). Since July of 2014, we have relocated to a new purpose built location (1300 sq.m) and through the help and support of the local government are hoping to expand the school and move to other cities. Long-term goals are to sell this educational platform to large education houses.
Extra curricular activities in Changchun:
Not to be confused with the founder, I helped Transfer “Changchun friends” foreign expat community to the web. Learned how to use the ning.com platform and assisted in implementing the changes. At present, I am a senior manager of the website.
I have also helped establish a magazine in the city called “the Changchurner” I am an editor as well as the marketing director for the magazine.
