Merhaba sayin yetkili’,

It is with great enthusiasm that I submit my curriculum vitae for an English teaching position for students with basic or more complex needs. As my CV details, I have a wealth of experience working with a variety of students with differing skills. I have worked with an assortment of students with different abilities. I am able to encourage students to be able to surmount the daily struggles that are often presented with a new lesson. I am interested in teaching English, for academia, business or conversational.

I have a love of language, and have always been excited to teach new words and ideas to students as tools to empower them. It has been rewarding to see them use new words and incorporate them in different ways to communicate. I am also skilled in teaching students strategies to learn. My experience teaching and my work attaining my master degree has helped me greatly to better serve student’s needs.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science from Humboldt State University in Arcata California. I also have attained my masters of education from Antioch University New England located in Keene New Hampshire. This work had an emphasis on an independent project to bring educational choice for underserved students with collegiate potential in rural schools.

I am an avid traveler and am not only interested in the sights, but mostly the people who embody daily life. I have been able to travel to six European countries that has enhanced my understanding of the complexity and commonalities we share as people and nations. My most fascinating trip was sponsored by the Turkish Cultural Foundation where I was able to experience the geographical and cultural highlights of the country. It changed my life, because of what I experienced on that trip. I was truly able to interact with different Turkish people who shared their specific passions about local cultural experience and expertise. This expanded my view of how many different cultural groups work to improve and preserve their countries culture in a wide variety of areas. I feel lucky to have witnessed people engaging in their craft and to share them with our group of teachers.

I am a passionate teacher for the acquisition and dissemination of knowledge. Connection with different types of students is what makes each a different challenge. I love the constant learning that teaching entails. I am a versatile educator, who has contributed to school wide committees and has had leadership positions involved in initiatives to improve academic outcomes. I have had the privilege and enjoyment to educate six foreign exchange students from Europe and Asia. I work empathetically with students to meet them where they are and work hard to get them where they need to be. I have inspired many students to love learning and to have a global outlook. I have a positive outlook and good sense of humor. I am looking forward to learn new ways to improve my craft of teaching.
