OBJECTIVE
I am a TEFL Certified teacher with strong leadership skills seeking a teaching position or to be a part of a language exchange program. I have experience teaching English to non-native English speakers, as well as teaching math, science, social science, and Spanish within rural communities in "Latin America".
With a former career in technology, I developed transferrable skills such as leadership, mentoring, time management, project planning and development, and report writing. I also planned, prepared, and delivered technical presentations to groups ranging from 5 to 200
My ultimate goal would be to develop a relationship with a school that enables me to teach English as a foreign language while embracing local culture and customs. I feel that with my diverse work and travel background, I will quickly adapt to any situation, while building trust and confidence with my colleagues and empowering students become fluent in English.
