Low wages, let us wake up

In Response To: Low wages/Let's wake up! (jinchafa)
I have only been here for two years, so will not pretend to be an expert. I view the teaching salary in China as purely the base point. 16 hours babysitting a week, nice two bedroom apartment, domestic help, taxis everywhere, take it easy and enjoy life. My view is that we need to do our own thing here. Study, travel, look for business opportunities. ways to help those not as fortunate as ourselves, nightlife, shopping, if that is your things, outdoor activities, culture. This is not the place if you are looking for a well paid, rewarding teaching position. Purely my point of view and I know there are lots of others
