Fine.Jinchafa gave stern warnings to non-native speakers and some other guys in this forum were not constructive in their perspectives. They just descended violently on the non-native speakers castigating, condemning and probably crucifying them.
To let this guys know,i've been around for close to 2 years and i feel any native speaker who is a degree holder and have good life way back home will never come to China to struggle for peanuts so to say.
I'm not a native speaker but i've been able to prove my mettle against all odds.
I have many native speakers friends who are out of jobs presently cos they can't perform in the class.
It's totally a different thing for you to speak under your breath or like if you've got a potato in your mouth and its another thing to face students and teach in simple and clear English.
If i may ask this questions, which country in the world hasn't got an accent?and which country's English is the standard and the most accepted?
Being a native apeaker is not the only yardstick to teach English.Being a good teacher that can impart knowledge is very important.
What i'm emphasising in essence is that,Not all native speakers are good teachers though some are wonderful.More important,we teachers should not bring sentiments into this profession in a foreign land.We should put in our ultimate best in the profession, put our acts together and fight against this so called Chinese bosses who think they are smart, but they are the greatest fools.
Felix and David, please be constructive and never jump into conclusions.

Cheers
