Teacher Training Schools
We provide first class teacher training in one of Europe's most vibrant and popular cities. Based in a long-established school in the middle of Barcelona, we offer a friendly yet professional environment in which to obtain your TEFL qualification.
Our course is designed entirely around our students; we keep class sizes small so that tuition is as personal as possible and all students receive as much help and assistance as they might need. Students are encouraged to adopt their own style of TEFL teaching and are given ample class time during the course in which to practice and develop.
The course is externally moderated and given international accreditation by IATQuO. Our aim is always to be ahead in terms of teaching quality and personal attention.
Why study in Barcelona?
Mediterranean and European are two defining characteristics of this ancient, modern, calm and vibrant, cosmopolitan city.
Located on the western shores of the Mediterranean, Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, has more than 2,000 years of history as a centre of trade and culture. It has a population of 4.5 million people.
Since the 1992 Olympic Games, and more recently Forum 2004, Barcelona’s popularity has grown and grown and it has become one of Europe's favourite tourist destinations. It has also become a prime destination for students and is the European city with the largest student population.
What is it that is so attractive about Barcelona?
It’s probably a combination of many things: It’s unique location as a threshold, as it were, between Spain and the rest of Europe, the wealth of history and culture, the superb architecture, the warm climate, the sea and the beaches, the light, the cafés, the excellent food, the people, the relaxed atmosphere, the night life…
Whatever it is, we are sure you will enjoy discovering the many things Barcelona has to offer you!
Sip coffee or have a leisurely breakfast in one of the many café terraces in the famous Rambla de Catalunya or in the magestic Passeig de Gracia, soaking in the colourful cosmopolitan atmosphere of the city, as it parades past you.
Allow yourself to get lost in the labyrinth of narrow medieval streets of the Barri Gotic (the Gothic Quarter) and stumble upon quiet plazas untouched by the passing of time.
Visit Gaudi’s famous La Pedrera, his wavy-lined apartment building, or the delicate art nouveau of Casa Batllo ,both in Passeig de Gracia. Or visit Barcelona’s emblematic Sagrada Familia , Gaudi’sdream like cathedral, ever in construction.
On another day, you may wish to climb the hill to Park Güel, and enjoy the mix of Gaudi’s fairy tale architecture and the beauty of Mediterranean nature. Contemplate the glimmering city far below, the port, and the blue sea beyond.
There are also 50 museums to choose from, some of which house permanent collections of work by artists such as Picasso, Miró and Tapies.
