People who don't pay salaries on time or not at all deserve to be beaten to a pulp.
If they don't pay me my last salary I will get brutal.
No pay is a company motto at all country garden schools in southern China.
I noticed all the problems you mention when I started there.
2.5 months later they fired me - all the blame is on me.
Avoid this school like the plague.
It sounds like a slow death sentence.
Warning proceed with extreme caution; These Country Garden Schools and estates are popping up in very remote areas of southern China. It is a real estate investment corporation, with a country garden school to cater to the residents of the community. The majority of the local administration you will be dealing with are NOT in the education industry but in fact are former country garden real estate agents, promoted through the ranks.Cut throats, penny pinching salesman and rude lying scumbags. They chew teachers and foreign principles up,and spit them out within a year or sooner.Do your homework on these schools, especially the infamous Guangdong Country Garden School, in foshan, shunde, bgy.
Good luck with your job search,
Sounds like total shit. It's a wonder they can get any teachers.
I did i stint at this school, everything was brand spanking new, the school, the apartment, heck the town. Discovered that this is a new Chinese beach resort town, and affiliated with Guangdong Country Garden School,in Foshan, bgy PRC.It has only been around 3 years but has a very high teacher turn over, most teachers leaving before mid-contract or being outright fired.
Another Problem with the school and there are several, including late pay and why there is such a turnover of teachers is it is out in the middle of nowhere, to get to the east side of Shenzhen it's a 90 minute bus ride. The only foreigners in the town are the teachers, talk about living in a fishbowl. Teachers spend every weekend going to Shenzhen. Yeah it pays more than other places like EF and Disney English, but you blow it going to Shenzhen every weekend to have some sort of life and that includes groceries a fast food fix or anything resembling decent health care.
Nice job if you are into solitude and want to live like a monk, I'm not sad to say.I did my liver a favor, packed my bags, and left that rat infested 1 horse ghost town.
