We were losing the game and I was mad. No one wants to lose, and I kind of lost my cool.
New York Giants player threw his helmet 10 rows deep into the stands. Yelling ensued after the throw, first by angry and frightened Colts fans toward Jacobs, then by Jacobs toward them and finally from Tom Coughlin directed toward his running back. The Giants coach loudly chastised his player on the sideline and didn't put him back in the game following the incident.
I was a little mad, but to be honest with you, it was a mistake. I did not mean to do that and everybody who knows me knows I did not mean to do something like that. The whole world could fall down on me and I wouldn't have done anything like that.
