English schools in Latin America
Since its founding years (128 years ago), Santiago College has had an excellent reputation for being at the forefront of the educational development, and today this is no exception: currently it is the only school in Chile, and one of the few around the world, authorized to give the three Programs of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO):
- Primary Years Programme (PYP)
- Middle Years Programme (MYP)
- Diploma Programme (DP)
While the IB programmes cultivate internationalism and respect for other cultures, they also adapt to the local environment and allow students to maintain a strong sense of cultural identity. Students are taught to be active learners, well-rounded individuals and engaged citizens, who gain practical experience of being part of an international community.
Though we have an internacional Curriculum, the contents we deliver are in accordance with those stipulated by the Chilean Ministry of Education.
Since its beginnings, Santiago College's main objective has been for its students to achieve their maximum capacity of development in all areas, not only on an intellectual level, but also on the physical and spiritual aspects too.
