English schools in Europe

Hungary - Budapest
School:Greater Grace International School (GGIS)

Greater Grace International School is an English-speaking, international, private Preparatory - K12 School
presently represented by thirty nationalities and ten religions.

The school was founded in 1991, for the purpose of educating the children of international missionaries in Hungary . It was not long before the international community in Budapest discovered the school, and by the end of 1992, GGIS has enrolled forty-five students. At this point only a few classrooms were rented in a Hungarian school. The following year saw a breakthrough in the growth of the school: the signing of a long-term rental contract for our current location and the decree from the Ministry of Education officially recognizing Greater Grace International School. The size of the property made it possible for enrollment to double the following year. The initial idea of educating missionary children quickly grew into a successful enterprise; we were soon able to extend our services to diplomats, businessmen and other expatriates. We enjoy a growing enrollment and welcome the opportunity to prepare students to become mature individuals, equipped for success with knowledge, self-respect and regard for others.
