By:Albert Doug

The northern part of Spanish province Alicante is located on the Mediterranean coast. On that coast also lies Benissa. It is a town with narrow streets, Mediterranean houses from the 17th and 18th century, small authentic churches and the Town Hall. Benissa has historical significance and fortunately, it is protected from damage and aging. In the 80’s and 90’s, Benissa has been restored. Today, this city is protected by its government.

Sandy beaches, blue sea and high mountains

The population of this city makes Benissa look like small Europe. Actually, thousands of inhabitants come from various European cities outside Spain. They came here due to the mild climate and the astonishing nature of Benissa. They fell in love with Benissa and with its white beaches and turquoise blue water. It is in a beautiful green valley full of Mediterranean flora. Low prices of real estate, mild climate and natural beauty have attracted Europeans for many years. Living in Benissa is harmonious and spending days in this oasis is like spending days in paradise.

Benissa is the pearl of Costa Blanca

This city has successfully resisted aging over the years.

If you ever come to Benissa, you should walk through the narrow streets and look around the old town. Benissa provides a unique feeling of happiness. Furthermore, it has so many historical monuments. Medieval games, competitions, marketplace and fencing!
