Date: 5 March 2018

Could you kindly review my application for an Primary teaching position.
I am returning to live in Thailand permanently on 9 March 2018 (TG 472) and will be available for an interview any time after that.
I am an approved K-6 teacher with the NSW Department of Education.
My teaching experience for over 35 years has been as a Primary school educator in Sydney and in British International schools in Thailand, including Bangkok Patana School.
At 71, I am healthy and energetic and continue to maintain an awareness and preparedness of best practice in education. Above all, I am still passionate about teaching.

I have held Executive posts both at Fairfield Public School in Sydney where I was Relieving Assistant Principal and recently as Head of Primary at Southern International School in Songkhla, Thailand.
Throughout my career, I have taught in high EAL schools, where I was involved iIhaven many In-Service Teacher Development courses on ESL in the mainstream. My teaching experience has always included children with special English needs so my daily planning routinely includes many visual and tactile teaching/learning strategies (which I also find enhances the learning of the more able students).
I have kept up with technology and proficient in using it for everyday learning in the classroom. Above all, I bring with me the ability to engage students in a warm, humorous and caring atmosphere while facilitating high standards of achievement and nurturing students to work to their full potential.

I am a flexible professional: always mindful of the importance of being a team player.

Please find attached my documents, resume and a recent photo.

Best regards,
Kamil Musa
