Teaching job or private students - English version

My name is Milan Joseph Beronjic, I am Vancouver Canada. I would like to take this opportunity to outline my teaching methods for your consideration.
Over 12 years of trial and error I found a method that no only gets results but keeps the students motivated and interested.

I take both private and small group lessons of (4 maximum). By keeping the groups small I am able to, focus on the students particular needs.

The difference between taking my lessons and a language school is that I am not motivated by business principles or restricted to a particular method; I use a variety of methods and curriculums. I fit the materials to the student ( whatever works best)

My lessons focus on

1) Improving daily conversation by (discussing current Japanese and international y news and other topics of interest to the student.
2) While doing activities with the student describe the actions in English
3) For those needing grammar exercises I give out simple to understand fill in the blank hand outs, covering a wide range of situations used in daily life
ｨC to be done for home-work.

I will go over the handout during the next lesson, and
answer any questions you may have, leaving the rest of
the lesson open for a more controlled procedure as
possible.｡｡During this process I correct mistakes
either vocabulary or pronunciation.

If the student(s) need more talking time, the lessons are designed for this. I am there to help you as much as you need.

By allowing student｡ｯs to practice, ask questions and express themselves, this will over time increase their self confidence and use English in any situation.

Over the years I have helped a lot of Japanese improve their English and have noticed that, if the student thinks of me as a friend, by taking a real interest in their progress, they improved much faster, than those who saw me just as their tutor.
