Here is my list of words and cultural notes for Bahasa Indonesia:

c = ch as in cheese
a = a as in car, far
u = oo as in book, or sometimes as in food
r = it is a rolled 'r' (but not crucial)
i = i as in tin, sit

1. Silahkan masuk - Please enter

2. Silahkan duduk! – Please sit down!

3. Mari ke sini - Come closer / come over here (make sure you beckon with palm down, don't use pointer)

4. Jangan begitu ya - Please don't behave like that

5. Pelan-pelan - Slow down, take it easy

6. Ayo cepat! - Hurry-up!

7. Jangan berisik – Be quiet please

8. Hati-hati! - Careful!

9. Awas! - Watch out!

10. Kasar - Rude

11. Sopan - Polite

12. Jorok - Not nice

13. Baik - Nice, good, wholesome

14. Jorok - Messy

15. Bagus - Nice, good, wholesome; Great!

16. Hebat! - Terrific!

17. Luar biasa! - Fantastic! (special)

18. di sini – here, over here

19. di situ, di sana – there, over there

20. Ulangi, Tolong ulangi – Please repeat!

21. Sebutlah! / Katakanlah! - Say...!

22. lagi - again

23. Terima kasih - thank you

24. Gariskan lah! – line / rule

25. Bulatkan lah! - circle

26. Tandai lah! - mark / Betulkan lah! - correct

27. Tidak/ enggak/ tak/ - no/not

28. Ya / betul/ benar - yes/ true

29. Lihatlah! - Look!

30. Dengarkan! - Listen!

31. Bukalah bukumu! - Open your book

32. Silahkan... / Boleh... - you may

33. Tolong! - Please help!
