Our school was opened on September 2nd, 1999 in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, by the Nursultan Nazarbayev Educational Foundation. Applying the best experience of domestic schools and integrating it with an international approach, our school is making a great contribution to the development of education in the Republic. Our teachers developing and implementing curricula and educational programmes which are unigue in our country.

The success of education depends on realitionships between parents and school, students and teachers. We are striving to form a single community which unites all those who work and study in Miras.

Our curriculum is based on the integration of the Kazakh National Educational Standards with the requirements of the programmes of the International Baccalaureate Organisation and encourages students' curiosity, creativity, critical thinking and independent decision-making.

We teach English, Kazakh and Russian languages and also offer subjects taught through the medium of these three languages.

Our highly gualified local and overseas staff provide students with knowledge and develop their skills and attitudes using a variety of teaching methods that allow every student to reach his/her potential.
