English schools in Asia
Faith Academy, located in Manila with a branch campus in Davao, is an international Christian school primarily for the children of missionaries working in Asia. We are committed to equipping our students to be Christ-like, life-long learners. We endeavor to provide each of our students with a dynamic, relevant education.
In March of 1956 a group of missionary parents met to consider the possibility of beginning a school for their children. After considerable prayer and work, with the assistance of a mission, which had a small school for its children, and with the help of several mothers serving as helper-teachers, school opened in July 1957. In subsequent years kindergarten and grades nine through twelve have been added to the original eight. The first year enrollment of forty-nine students has been multiplied more than ten-fold with even greater increases in the number of boarding students. A small mission school located in Davao on the southern Philippine island of Mindanao, was started in 1952. Several years later it joined Faith Academy and became a branch school known as Faith Academy Davao. The Manila campus can accommodate over 650 students and in Davao the campus can accommodate 80 students. Approximately one-fourth of the students live in the boarding homes and the rest live with their parents.
