Heyuan Polytechnic is located in the city of Heyuan, Guangdong province — a top national tourist city, which is famous for its “blue mountains, green lakes and clear waters.” Approved by the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government in 2001, it has grown out of Guangdong Laolong Normal School, which enjoyed a long history of 70 years. Heyuan Polytechnic is a full-time public vocational higher educational institute which was funded by local government and was put on file in the National Ministry of Education. Situated on the bank of Dongjiang River, the college is endowed with a convenient transportation, covering an area of 1,000,000 ㎡.With the building’s area (construction area) of 160,000 ㎡, many buildings have been completed, such as teaching building, students’ apartment, canteens, library, practice and training building, indoor stadium, elegant man-made lake.
